Fading Constellations
Cinematic Edition

Fading Constellations and Beyond the Veil share the same lyrics, born from a peculiar homesickness I felt as a child while gazing at the night sky. I spent so much time beneath the stars with a feeling I could barely put into words: that my home was somewhere else entirely, and that perhaps I would feel as naturally at home there as I felt out of place here.
I struggled to understand the people around me, and often felt that they struggled to understand me too. That distance between us held a deep loneliness and a very human longing: I wanted to belong somewhere while remaining fully myself, among those who could welcome me without needing me to explain everything I felt.
As a child, I felt that these beings lived on another planet, in another galaxy, and that one day they would come for me. Looking at the stars, I felt a strange closeness to them, as though somewhere in the vastness a familiar world was waiting for me, one to which I was already connected by an invisible bond. There was something deeply spiritual in this, as though my soul recognised a sense of belonging that I could feel here only through its absence. I longed for someone to find me, recognise me, and take me home.
Through music, I tried to express this feeling that was so difficult to put into words. Alongside the loneliness, I always carried the hope that my connection to that distant home had never been broken, and that somewhere, someone still remembered me. Perhaps I was never lost, only very far from where I belong.
These songs are for anyone who knows this feeling and how difficult it can be to share; for those who, as children, looked to the sky, trying to draw closer to something they felt was missing from their lives on Earth, and felt homesick for a place they could never name.
